Quickie – Eating the garden update

So far this month we have not bought any spinach. Instead we’ve used Fat Hen from the garden in salads, green smoothies and a potato and sag curry.

We are getting a small salad every two days from the herb patch, foraging and the first crop of cut and come again salad.

Lastly instead of buying rocket for last night’s meal I used the Mizuna we’ve grown in the cut and come again patch.

I might have to start weighing it all to create a produce tally for the year!
